Historic name: Fossati's (built 1900)

About This Property

 Italian immigrant Frank Fossati opened a saloon with Herman Krehmeier at the northeast corner of S. Main and E. Juan Lin n streets in 1882. Fossati moved into this building in about 1900. Local sources report that it became a popular gathering place for local politicos. Vacant from 1978-87, the buildig was rehabilitate d in 1986. Fossati's reopened i n 1987.
