1511 Main served as the Aston's Spick & Span Market from the 1920s to 1961.  The building was used as W.C. Northcutt Skating Rink from 1962-1963.  In 1964, Lawson & Company(already located at 1507 Main, next door) began utilizing this side of the building as well.  George Provence bought the building for Provence Decorating in 1981 and utilized both sides of the property.  
1507 Main served as Pioneer Auto Supply and Bill's Cafe.  In 1946, Smith-Lawson Co., a home builders store utilized just 1507 Main.  The store changed it's name to Lawson & Company around 1947 and stayed in business until 1981.  George Provence used the building from 1981 to 1984 for Provence Decorating.  Green Horse Antiques was located at this address from 1984 - 1986.  Joann Holloway had the Treasure Trunk on this side from 1989 - 1990.  Billy Talbot utilized both sides of the property for Talbots Flooring beginning in 1994.  This property is currently for lease.
