1400 Main St 

Currently, the building is vacant, but recently went through an extensive remodel.
1400 & 1402 Main are for sale as one listing.  1400 Main was once 1402 Main.  It had it's start as Puckett Tire Service in the early 1920s.  It was originally owned by J. A. Puckett and G.D. Edwards.  The gentlemen sold the business to H.L. Westerman in 1925.  Suttle Motor Company sold Hudson cars in the building from 1939 - 1942.  Cayce's Grinding Service - Barber Tools occupied the building in the late 1940s.  In 1945, the Puckett family transformed the building into a meat locker known as Wilbarger Frozen Food Lockers.  In 1947, the family sold the property and the business became Texas Meat and Provision Company.  One year after the sale, the Puckett family bought the company back and changed the name back to Wilbarger Frozen Food Lockers.  In the 1960s, new ownership changed the name to Buckman's Meat Locker and it became Cracker Barrel in the 1970s.
