About This Property

The first Episcopal  service west of San Antonio was celebrated  in 1880. By 1881, a parish priest was   appointed. In 1903 the congregation  purchased four lots on North Getty where  they built a wooden building. The current  sanctuary was completed in 1949 with the  annex and parish hall added in 1957 with  further expansion completed in recent  years. In 1961, St. Phillip’s Day School  was opened.
