About This Property

This building originally sat on N. Getty St. It was built in 1892 by William and Almina Pulliam Lewis. The Lewis' were married in 1859 at Ft. Inge. The Lewis’ family had a piano in the parlor that they had brought from Galveston by covered wagon in 1851. The house was moved to S. Getty in 1992 which makes it ineligible for National Register.
