Historic name: Martin Building (built 1907)

About This Property

District Judge Isaiah  Luciano Martin (1855-1938) built this  building in 1907. His law office was  upstairs overlooking the courthouse. Other  lawyers who officed here include: Levy  Old, David White Sr., and Ross Doughty.  The 1910 Sanborn map shows a movie  theatre in this building. Armour & Co. Gulf  Refining was located downstairs and later  Railway express. In 1993, Emmett Harris  & Rick Fogle renovated the building for 
their law office.
