At the corner of N. Getty and E. North. In 1927, Mrs. W. D. Kincaid built this hotel as a monument to her husband, William Davis Kincaid, a pioneer Texas cattleman. The hotel not only provided rooms for guests, it was the community center. Visiting dignitaries including Harry Truman and Lyndon B. Johnson stopped here. The downstairs featured a barber shop, beauty shop, candy store, and dress shop as well as a coffee shop, dining room and lobby. There were fifty-four guest rooms and entrances on both Getty and North Streets. Many cattle, sheep and goat transactions were conducted here by local and visiting ranchers. In 1968 the building was purchased by Don Friend who remodeled it to its current appearance.
