About This Property

The Hotel Grim is a landmark building in downtown. The eight-story hotel was built in 1925 and at the time was the second tallest structure in Texarkana. The iconic building is strategically located on State Line Avenue on the Texas and Arkansas border. The idea for the hotel originated and was executed by several leading businessmen from both Texarkana, TX, and Texarkana, AR, and named for William Rhodes Grim who was an early president of the Texarkana National Bank.
