The Sturgis-Goldstein Department Store, now known as the McCrory Timmerman building, was built in 1888 and for many years housed McCrory’s Department Store. The store had “just about anything you could want.” The totally renovated building now includes 2nd Street Station Kitchen & Bar, La Scala Italian Restaurant, Good Strangers Coffee Shop, Hola Aloha, Farmers Insurance, True Barbershop, Gonzalez Bookkeeping, Lux Innovation Barber Shop,  Pax Pools, HJD Homes, Art Off Center, Nomura Microscience, Shinhwa USA, CWMRY Boyd II, Taylor Economic Development Corp., and 4 residential lofts.
