About This Property

Two-story Greek Revival hotel with wood siding and a flat roof; features corner pilasters, a cornice board, and a portico; older one-story limecrete volume at rear with a side-gabled roof. Older volume dates to the mid-1840's and the wood-frame volume dates to c.1850. Stopped operating as a hotel in 1900, after which point it was used as a boarding house, a lodge for Sons of Hermanns, and then apartments.  It is currently used as a private residence.
