About This Property

There has been a lumber yard at the corner of E. Brazos and N Oak since at least 1906. W. Boone's Lumber Yard was located along Brazos and Elm first, expanding to take up the entire half block by 1912. The 1924 Sanborn maps show Barnes Lumber yard in the general configuration of the site today. The building on the corner of E. Brazos and N. Oak is a newer mid-century addition.
