The property is a Prairie School style 2-story commercial building erected in 1916. The exterior features brickwork with detail unique to this structure, but similar to commercial construction of this era. The second story includes large windows from the original construction. The Houston St. storefronts are mostly originally, and the one on N. Main was recently rebuilt in the style of the original construction.
