210 Bonham St 

This site began as a vacant lot in 1885. By 1892 there was a building there, the address being 313 & 312 Bonham, and in 1897 the labels were 304 & 306 Bonham. Agricultural implements apparently were sold from the structure.

In 1902 the building apparently held a furniture store, using the same addresses. In 1908 the building wrapped around the Fenet Grocery. 304 Bonham was a grocery, or perhaps part of Fenet's operation, and 306 Bonham was a hardware store.

In 1914, what is then 50 Bonham, once 304, held a fruit and grocery store. 52 Bonham was vacant. There were some club rooms in a second floor location. By 1920 the store wrapped around to 11 North 19th Street, and sold hardware, buggies and implements. Listed as occupants in 1921's city directory was the Paris Hardware Company, owned by E.R. Smith. He sold harnesses and also Garland Stoves. 

In 1926 there was no building at 50 & 52 Bonham, according to the Sanborn Map. Apparently a fire took the historic two-story building. Even the wrap around area on the north is vacant of a structure.

The 1937 city directory says the new one-story building is 210 & 214 Bonham. Firestone auto accessories occupies the east side, and Paris Floor Covering Company the west. By 1946, when street numbers in Paris changed, the building was still called 210 & 214 Bonham, with two occupants. In 1950 all is the same.

In 1959 Roberts Standard Brand Shoe Store occupied 210 Bonham, with Western Auto Associated Store in 214 Bonham. The manager was Chester Jones.

Later Bill Bone purchased the site and incorporated it into his business. The roof caved in during June 2016, after a 3 month warning was given to the Paris Fire Department in the previous April.
