About This Property

Before the fire of 1916 the building was occupied by a title company. In 1920 the address was #9 North 20th Street, but no building had been reconstructed there. No building was there in 1926, but apparently one was built by the early 1930s. In 1946 the site was re-labeled 21 First Northwest. In 1959 it was the office of Johnson Title Company.

The building to the north, called 11 North 20th in 1920, survived the 1916 fire, and housed the Grady Crawford and Charles Delphenis Grocery. By 1950 this narrow building was home for several business offices. 

In 1985 both buildings were torn down and First National City Bank constructed the current building.
