Currently, the offices of the Palestine Area Chamber of Commerce, the G.E. Dilley Building was built in 1882 by the Dilley family. Although never used by the family, the commercial building housed the Post Office from 1890-94 and later the Schreiner and Rimare Music Stores.

The Dilley Building is a superb example of Italianate commercial architecture. The two story structure is a purple and brown soft brick with a red wash. The building is distinguished by cast iron entry sills and Corinthian columns, as well as balancing ornamentation. The elaborate cornice is of tin as are the side window caps.
