About This Property

The house was built in 1908 and occupied thereafter by Dr. and Mrs. E.L. Burton. The ceiling of the home was painted by Peter Plotkin of New York upon Mrs. Burton's request. It took nine months for Plotkin to paint the ceilings of the reception hall, parlor, library and dining room where vast canvases of various themes and rich colors were echoed by jewel-like oriental rugs.
