This small brick commercial building was built for Joseph Nugent, possibly for his own office use.
Purchased by C.A. Smith and Sons in the early 1900’s, the building remained in the Smith estate until 1968.

The building is best remembered as the Curry Bros. Grocery, which operated here from c. 1908 to 1925. Since 1925, it has been rented to a variety of businesses. The building exhibits patterned and corbelled brickwork.

The building is a registered Mansfield Historic Landmark.
