The original building on this site was constructed around 1915. It was rebuilt after a fire in 1949, but the façade you see today is a modern reconstruction. The building was home to the Gibson Grocery store. 

The Gibson Grocery store was opened in 1932 by A.S. and Ethel Gibson after Mr. Gibson’s employer went bankrupt. The Gibson family acquired this building in 1944 and operated the grocery store here until 1973. 

The property remained in the Gibson family until 2003. Other tenants have occupied this building including the Frosted Pink bakery and Dirty Job Brewing.
