About This Property

This is one of the newest buildings on historic Kleberg Avenue.  The old building was purchased by Roy Elmore from Sedwick Shoe Repair and demolished.  This 1959 building was built by the Elmore Family.  The building sports a movie marquee but was never used as a movie theater.  The structure located here before 1916 was the Strand Movie Theater and it was destroyed by the powerful hurricane.  Take a look in Roy’s.  It is a real, old fashioned hobby store.
