Built in 1960s and is the 3rd building to be built on this property. The original building was an ornate two-story building housing the first bank of Grand Saline on the first floor and the Bryan House Hotel on the second floor. That building burned and was replaced in the 1930s and became the State National Bank building. This building was torn down and replaced in the 1960s by First National Bank and took in a portion of the neighboring building which was once the A&P Food Store followed by the Stone Sisters Variety Store and remains now as the Austin Bank.
