About This Property

The T.B. Meeks Company was first located here (around 1890).  A gentleman by the name of Mr. Jarvis worked here and gained the experience and knowledge to open the Jarvis' Department Store across the street. Later, K Wolen's Department Store relocated here from across the street (in the 2-story portion of Salt City Co,) and remained for many years followed by Family Dollar and then Rocky's Catfish Restaurant.
In October 2020 Granny & Poppy Antique opened for business at this location. Currently the building is closed due to storm damage in 2024.
