About This Property

The Coca-Cola Building named after the advertising mural painted on the side of the building. Murals were a very popular way to advertise products before there was television and can be seen  painted on building all over. 
At the turn of the 20th century, there was a Coca-Cola bottling plant in Grand Saline. It was located on the south portion of the Clifford Building across the street from the post office.  The Coca-Cola bottles were stamped on the bottom with "Grand Saline". The plant bottled the famous soft drink and water and moved to Terrell by the 1930's.
This building housed a multitude of businesses including J.G. Clark Reliable Druggist, Patterson Bros Groceries, movie theater and later Fowler insurance agency & Bartley Funeral Home office.  Charles Parker was a realtor out of this office as well.
In 2020 LD Construction put roots down to provide a storefront at this location for this home construction business.
