About This Property

 In March of 1914, the Merchants Opera house was destroyed by fire.  In place of that one building was built several buildings.  One of the buildings,  the Levermann Building was built by Adolph Levermann.  Several businesses have made this building their home throughout it's history. In 1914 Leverman and Son's Paint's opened its doors.  The store was located in this building until the late 1960's.  Central Texas Commerical College opened its' doors September 1st 1914 with an enrollment of 112 students.
