About This Property

J.T. Hodges was the owner of the second brick building on the square. He came to Canton in 1890 as a trained pharmacist. In 1893, he built the brick building at this locaiton to be used as a drugstore. He was an active pharmacist for 42 years. He worked for Nolen Brothers Drug Store in Canton for 27 years. The Dragon Fly Inn was part of the G.W. Tull complex b1892 and was used primarily as rental property. For most of the 60 uears that the Tulls owned the building, various businesses were located at this location.
