About This Property

In 1893, D.F. Clark built a brick building on the West side corner of Buffalo and Dallas Street to house his drug store. In 1894, he built the third brick building on the North side of the square. The first occupant of the store was D. L. Riley and Sons, operatiing their general merchandise store. The Riley family were one of the more prominent businessmen in Canton for almost 90 years.
