About This Property

The Amarillo Building is considered Amarillo's oldest skyscraper. Designed by architects, Shepard & Wiser, as part of the oil-induced skyscraper boom of the mid-1920's. It occupies two towers with a design that doubled the number of the corner offices and allowed maximum natural light. The current owners have continued to preserve and celebrate the building by adding their own touches including a metal sculpture of a cattle drive around the exterior first-floor windows and an oil-field "Christmas Tree" sculpture on the corner to pay tribute to the region's history.
