A two-story, wood-frame house with a central hip roof and projecting gabled wings. The hip roofed porch rests on turned columns with sawn and turned brackets. The second floor is not a full story but is brought up under the pitched roof. The house has been covered in recent years with horizon tal aluminum siding. 

The house was occupied by Mrs. M. L. Arnett in the first City Directory in 1907, but it appears to have been built earlier, probably in the 1890s. 

In plan and massing this house resembles other Amarillo houses of the period with its central hip roof and projecting gabled wings, but in its low second story it is unusual.
